‘It would support business and ease congestion’

A request has been made for a public car park in Ballymore Eustace.

Local councillor Evie Sammon asked Kildare County Council to “re-examine the delivery of a car park there.

She told a Naas Municipal District committee meeting it would support local businesses and encourage a “Park and Stride” system for the local school, which would improve safety and ease congestion.

She said people are not parking all day in Ballymore though the area is busy at school times.

KCC said it will talk to relevant interested parties “to see what options are available.”
