Change of use from crèche to apartments sought for two properties in South Kildare

New apartments are being sought in the South of Kildare.
That's according to a new planning permission application which was recently lodged with Kildare County Council.
Applicant Kristina White intends to make the changes to 12 and 13 Hollands Park, which are located within Rheban Manor in Athy.
Ms White's application shows that she is seeking permission for the change of use of the existing ground floor space from crèche to residential, and the construction of an extension to the rear of the property to provide an additional 56.00 square metres of habitable space, then dividing the entire ground floor to form three new two-bedroom apartments.
Subdivision of the rear garden to provide private open space for each ground floor apartment is also being sought.
The provision of five new off-street car park spaces (no off-street parking exists currently) to supplement the existing on-street car parking (five) previously provided for the crèche and first floor apartments is also being proposed.
An enclosed bin store all to the front of the building, including dishing of existing verge / footpath to allow for vehicular access to new off street car park spaces, is also being proposed for the two properties.
Lastly, balconies on the first floor level to the rear of properties are also being proposed, in order to serve as private open space for existing first floor apartments, including the provision of a new door leading out onto the new balcony from each first floor apartment.
The date received is listed as December 20 last, while the due date is listed as February 22.
There is no submission-by date listed as an extention of duration has been sought by Ms White in relation to the application.
