The Curragh is delighted to announce their partnership with Junefest with the launch of a special race evening on Wednesday 5th June which includes a concert after racing with country music legend Declan Nerney.

The eight-race programme which kicks off at 4.50pm features the Sky Bet Race to the Ebor Premier Handicap.

The evening will also be a celebration of Women’s Sheds with the racecourse inviting members from across Leinster to the event, while many of them will be taking part in an attempt to create an Irish racecourse record for the most people taking part in a line dance. Dancers will be encouraged to embrace the initiative by dressing in country and western style as part of the Shedfest theme.

Admission in advance is €15 at curragh.ie with all under 18s free.  A special offer to all members of Women’s Sheds will be communicated to them directly.

Annie Morris, Chairperson of Junefest said,

“We’re delighted that the Curragh has come on board to support Junefest. It’s brilliant to have such a beautiful venue to bring everyone together. Declan Nerney, horses, line dancing and Leinster Women’s Sheds is guaranteed to be a great evening out.”
