Disruptions to water supply for residents in Rathangan this afternoon

Irish Water has said that residents in Rathangan may experience disruptions to their water supply this afternoon with mains repair works being carried out in the area.

As part of the National Leakage Reduction programme, mains repair works may cause supply disruptions to Pomeroy Park, Rathangan and surrounding areas. It is understood that a traffic management plan will be in place for the duration of the works.

Works have an estimated completion time of 3pm this evening according to Irish Water.

The company said: "We recommend that you allow 2-3 hours after the estimated restoration time for your supply to fully return."
