Firefighters use emergency crane to lift immobilised car from crash scene

This was the scene at a road traffic collision in Dublin earlier this week. 

The emergency tender is a specialist rescue vehicle which is equipped with a crane. 

This Emergency Rescue Tender (ET) is a specialist vehicle based in Phibsborough.

The crane can be used for a variety of tasks including lifting a stretcher.

ETs respond to all road traffic collisions as they carry specialist equipment.
