Free ice-cream being given away at Kildare store this weekend
Visitors are encouraged to arrive early
Chocolate lovers in Kildare will have the chance to enjoy a free frozen treat this weekend as Lindt celebrates National Ice Cream Day with a special giveaway at its Kildare Village store.
The Swiss chocolatier is giving away a limited number of its freshly made Crema Gelata ice creams on Friday, July 18, and Saturday, July 19, at 11 participating stores across the UK and Ireland. The giveaway is available on a first come, first served basis, with one free ice cream per person while stocks last.
The Kildare Village store is among the participating locations, with visitors encouraged to arrive early as the giveaway is expected to be popular and is available only while stocks last.
The promotion coincides with the launch of Lindt's new Dubai Style Sundae, inspired by the brand's popular Dubai Style Chocolate bar. The indulgent dessert features creamy Crema Gelata layered with crunchy Kadayif pastry and smooth pistachio sauce before being topped with a Lindt Dubai Style Chocolate praline.
Also joining the summer menu is the new Lindt Mango Milkshake, blending Lindt white chocolate ice cream with sweet mango syrup to create a refreshing seasonal treat. Both new additions have been crafted using premium Lindt Swiss chocolate by the company's Master Chocolatiers.
Customers can also choose from the existing Crema Gelata range, available in Classic Milk Chocolate, White Chocolate, or a combination of both flavours. Each is served in a chocolate-lined wafer cone or cup and topped with a square of Lindt dark chocolate.
The free giveaway applies only to the classic Crema Gelata range and does not include the new Dubai Style Sundae. Lindt said the promotion is designed to mark National Ice Cream Day and thank customers during the summer season.
