Fundraising tractor run taking place in Kildangan

A fundraising tractor run is taking place in Kildangan on July 30 to raise funds for a local family. 

A group of people in Kildangan who have formed a committee in the hope of raising much-needed funds for a local family who has been affected by Motor Neuron Disease.

A spokesperson for the group said: "Our hope is that we can lighten the burden by providing this family with a token from the community in which they live.

"We are holding a tractor run on Sunday the 30th of July from the Crosskeys, Kildangan, as part of this fundraising event there will be refreshments also in the Crosskeys once the Tractor run has finished, it is then that we will hold a raffle and auction, this is where you come in.

"We are seeking as many prizes as possible for the raffle and auction, we are very aware that this is a difficult time for all and for that reason, we would be very grateful for any help with our endeavor, no matter how big or small.

"We would also be very grateful if you could share our fundraising efforts with your family and friends as we would gratefully accept any donations.

"We are really hoping to make this event as much of a success as possible.
