Guilty plea to DUI offence in Kilcock, County Kildare

A man submitted a guilty plea at Naas District Court on Thursday, March 9, in relation to a drug-driving offence.

Michael Kelly, with an address listed as Ferrans Stud, Summerhill Road, Kilcock, admitted to the offence, which took place at Church Street in Kilcock on February 23, 2020.

It was heard that Mr Kelly was driving at the time with cocaine in his system.

The 28-year-old will return to court on September 14, which is when he is due to be sentenced by Judge Desmond Zaidan.
