Kildare Animal Foundation will host a Dog Walk at Castletown House, Celbridge on Sunday next, September 9, from 12.30pm.
The centre based at Lough Andys House, South Green Road in Kildare town, offers a safe haven for sick, injured and abused animals including wildlife. They run a rescue service and further offer advice to the public.
"Join us - either with or without your doggy pals(s) - in the beautifully restored grounds of the historical Castletown House" said Michelle Keenan, KAF volunteer. "And all donations/funds raised are in aid of the shelter and its running costs".
Volunteers will be collecting donations on the day.
Meet in front of house at 12.15pm; walk starts 12.30 sharp. "All dogs on lead please as the grounds is home to many types of wild life!" said Michelle. "We look forward to seeing you there on Sunday!"
