Kildare County Council will help maintain a scenic walk

The popular walking route is located in a Kildare town

Kildare County Council will help maintain a popular walkway in Ballymore Eustace.

It was asked by local councillor Evie Sammon to take the river walk in charge.

KCC official Simon Wallace indicated KCC has no objection in principle to doing this.

“However we do not have the capacity to provide all the maintenance required to maintain the area. We would be happy to work in conjunction with the local community organisations to maintain the area as we do in other areas of the county, and to organise a meeting to discuss this,” Mr Wallace added.
