Kildare firm wins contract for €6.8m Dublin project

MDY Construction Limited in Staplestown has been chosen as the main contractor for a project in Dublin worth an overall total of €6.8m.

The firm is expected to commence works this month on the demolition of two houses on South Circular Road, Rialto for the construction of a new 3-storey Primary Care Centre over a basement car park.

The proposed development consists of GP clinics and a pharmacy at ground floor level and HSE Primary Care Team clinics and offices at first and second floor levels.

Also included are 15 car parking spaces.

Works are expected to take in the region of 14 months to complete.
