Kildare Garda application is granted for thousands of euros in drugs related cash
Thousands of euros in drugs related cash has been granted to the state following an application by Kildare Superintendent Martin Walker.
Under the Police Property Act, cash to the value of €2,170 was seized at Kilbellan, Newbridge, on May 7, 2014.
The accused was charged under Section 3 of the Misuse of Drugs Act.
Evidence was also heard how a grinder and weighing scales were found.
Garda evidence outlined how the cash was the 'proceeds of drug dealing.'
Judge Desmond Zaidan granted the application and ordered that €2,170 is forfeited to the state.
