KILDARE: Good news as Family Resource Centre in Newbridge is expanding in €1m project

Kildare County Council has granted planning permission to Newbridge Family Resource Centre for the construction of a single storey extension to side and rear of the existing facility.

The extension will consist of three separate phases at the community hub in Dara Park. 

The estimated construction value of the project is €1.1m, according to Construction Information Services database.

Phase One will involve the construction of a multi-use room, coffee dock, toilet and two family consultation rooms.

Phase Two will comprise the construction of a machinery store, offices and toilets.

Phase Three will see an extension to the existing childcare facility and a new sensory room.
