Kildare man appears in Donegal court on several charges
A 38-year-old man, with addresses in Co Kildare and Derry appeared at a court in Co Donegal to face a number of charges including assault and possessing drugs.
Kevin Kavanagh of Rye River Crescent in Leixlip and Cashel Hill Park in Galliagh, Derry is charged with assault causing harm at the Villa Rose Hotel, Main Street in Ballybofey, Co Donegal on March 15 last.
He also faced charges of trespassing and unlawful drugs possession at Chrislaghmore, Burnfoot on February 9, 2014.
At Buncrana District Court yesterday, Judge Paul Kelly remanded the accused on bail and adjourned the case until January 14 next.
