KILDARE NOTICE: Would you like to volunteer to help children improve their reading?

Looking for something to do with your spare time?  Would you like to volunteer to help children improve their reading?

County Kildare LEADER Partnership is organising training for a programme called, Better Basics - Boosting Reading, where volunteers support children in primary school to improve their reading.

Two days of training are provided to prepare volunteers.

The volunteer commitment for the programme, is  one hour, twice a week, for 15 weeks, commencing mid-January 2023.

Training will take place on Wednesday, November 30 and Wednesday, December 7. Interested volunteers must attend both dates.

Training is free, but you must register in advance.
