KILDARE: Planning permission sought for mobile farm facility for hens

A planning application has been submitted to Kildare County Council for a mobile poultry facility in north west Kildare. 

The proposed unit for approximately 200 laying hens will be moved around a 13.7 hectares organic farm in the Robertstown area. 

The local planning authority received the application on June 14 last .

Planners will have 12 weeks to decide on whether to grant permission.
