After coming fourth in last year’s Junior Eurovision, the search is on for the next Irish Junior Eurovision 2023 entry.

Kildare singers Sarah Burke and Juliette Maguire have made it to the semi final of TG4 Junior Eurovision 2023.

Sarah (11) and Juliette (10) both from Newbridge will be performing on TG4 this Sunday 1st October at 8.30pm

Each year, the best young singers, aged 9-14, from across Europe compete in this huge event. But who will represent Ireland?

Now, after months of auditions and televised heats, only 8 acts remain. These semi-finalists will battle it out for a place in next week’s final performing for the judges - Niamh Ní Chróinín, Aindriú de Paor and tonight's guest judge, Brian Kennedy, who performed at the Eurovision in 2006 with his song ‘Every Song is a Cry for Love’.

Who will hold their nerve and reach next week’s series final? And who will go all the way and represent Ireland in France on the 26th November?

The programme is hosted by Louise Cantillon and Darragh Ó Caoimh.
