KILDARE: Water to be made available at two Naas locations

Water is to be made available for people using two public locations in Naas.

Green Party councillor Colm Kenny asked that  water hydration and refill stations be provided at the new Naas library and the Potato Market, which houses a market every Saturday.

A Naas Municipal District meeting was told that there are plans for a water hydration and refill station at the library, which will be located on the ground floor.

Eventually all library buildings - where a suitable location can be identified - will have similar drinking water stations.
