Investigations are ongoing

A man has appeared in court over the seizure of €220,000 worth of suspected herbal cannabis, which was discovered near the Kildare-Dublin border.

Commenting on the announcement, a garda spokesperson explained: "The man (40s) arrested in connection with the seizure of approximately €220,000 of herbal cannabis during an operation conducted by An Garda Síochána and Revenue's Customs Service in the Lucan area of County Dublin on Thursday, July 25, 2024, has since been charged.
