Mondello Park to host Lights Fest with a group now protesting against the event

The Lights Fest Dublin, which was originally planned to be held in Punchestown has moved location to Mondello Park.

A group called Stop Balloon Releases Ireland is protesting against the Lights Festival this August 11, from  4pm to 10pm.

The group is voicing concerns about risks of fire and says that littering caused will be widespread.
