Multiple driving offences detected for this Kildare motorist

Naas Roads Policing Unit (NaasRPU) carried out speed checks in Ballymore Eustace, Kildare recently when one particular driver caught their attention.

Once stopped, gardai determined that the motorist had:

• No insurance;

• Was driving unaccompanied on a learner permit;

• A very badly worn front tyre;

• No NCT – the NCT had expired over six months previously.

The vehicle was impounded and the driver handed Fixed Charge Penalty Notices (FCPNs) totalling €580 as well as three penalty points.
