Naas gardai found a disqualified driver behind the wheel of this car last night

A motorist had his car seized last night after he was stopped by Naas Traffic Corps.

During a Mandatory Alcohol Testing (MAT) checkpoint, officers discovered the driver had no insurance, road tax or NCT.

The car was immediately seized under the Road Traffic Act and the driver was arrested.

It also emerged that the motorist is currently disqualified from driving for previous offences.

Gardai said the driver will be appearing to face several charges in court soon.
