Author and librarian Mario Corrigan of Kildare Library Services will be the guest speaker at the launch of Haunting Echoes of Ireland’s Past by Colm Donnelly in Farrell & Nephew in Newbridge on Saturday, March 11 from 2-4pm.

Haunting Echoes of Ireland’s Past is a stunning book full of photographs and stories about Irish heritage sites, many that are off the beaten track and some sites that have never been featured in print previously.

The 300-page hardback features sites from the four provinces of Ireland and includes four sites in County Kildare: The Gibbet Rath, Curragh; Rheban Castle, Athy; Carbury Castle and The Hill of Grange (homeplace of Moll Anthony).

The book is available in local book shops including Farrell & Nephew, Newbridge; Seanchaí Books in Kildare Town and Barker & Jones in Naas and is also available to buy online at lettertecbookstore.com.
