New superstore in Maynooth set to open its doors for the first time this month

A new major home store will be opening in March at the end of next month, which will see 80 jobs created in Maynooth.

The Range, a UK company that specialises in home, leisure and garen products is due to open in the former Tesco site in Carton Park on Good Friday, March 30.

The superstore is expected to help boost the local economy by providing jobs on a part-time and full-time basis from store to department managers and warehouse assistants to retail administrators.

The Range has more than 150 stores across Ireland and the UK, and this is the latest development in a growing brand that was first established by Chris Dawson in Plymouth in 1989.

The new store in Maynooth will provide products across Furniture, Arts & Crafts, DIY and Homewares departments. The store will include a family café serving a wide selection of delicious food and drink.
