Newbridge Musical Theatre celebrates a “Tale As Old As Time”

Chairperson Conor Kilduff said, “The music from Disney movies has an undisputable magic about it. No matter how old you are, hearing Disney music can transport you through time to your own childhood. The only difficulty for us was choosing which songs to leave out!”

The group recently announced their principal cast for their production of Disney’s The Little Mermaid, which will be staged in April 2023. This coincides with The Walt Disney Company’s celebration of 100 years of magic. This represented a chance to fully embrace the magical music of Disney films, says PRO Adam Trundle:

“When we started planning our concert for this year, we knew it was the perfect opportunity to bring some of Disney’s most magical music to Newbridge during the build up to Christmas.

Children and adults alike are sure to enjoy the collection of classic hits and forgotten gems we have compiled.”

Tickets for the concert cost €15 and are available from the Riverbank Box Office at www.riverbank.ie and 045 448327. The concert will be staged at 8pm on Saturday 10 th and Sunday 11 December, as well as a matinee performance at 3pm on Sunday, December 11.
