NOTICE: Temporary closure of busy boardwalk announced in Kildare
The announcement was made by Kildare County Council
The temporary closure of a busy boardwalk in Newbridge has been announced today (August 8) by Kildare County Council (KCC).
KCC said: "The boardwalk at The Gables will be closed for repair works from Monday, August 11, 2025, to Friday August 15, 2025.
"A diversion will be in place to provide access to the Liffey Linear Park."
