'Partner's family members appeared outside my home'

Family members of a man’s former partner have appeared outside his home and have been captured on CCTV, it was claimed at Naas District Court.

The man appeared before the court seeking an order under family law legislation. The woman did not appear and neither was she legally represented.

He also said she had come to his home and took their daughter from him.

He added that he had not seen his daughter between then and the court date.

The man also alleged that she forced her way into the dwelling.

“Every time I have her, there’s a problem,'' he said.

Judge Michael Ramsey said he would not grant a protection order because the circumstances outlined did not warrant it.
