Day For Edel
The inaugural Day For Edel was a huge success with almost 1,000 people turning out for a buggy push, 5K, 10k and a half marathon.
The event was held in memory of Edel Slicker - a hugely popular young mum of two who passed away last October.
Edel, who had played for both Athgarvan and Eadestown GAA, was a teacher and an advocate for mental and physical health.
Family and friends turned out in their droves on Saturday to raise funds for Make A Wish foundation.
