Plan to build apartments over retail unit in Kildare town

There are plans to renovate and extend a shop in Kildare town. 

A planning application was submitted to Kildare County Council in relation to the property on Station Road.

Being proposed is the renovation and rear extension of the existing ground floor retail unit.

Also planned is a first floor and second floor (roof space) extension comprising of two one-bedroom duplex apartments.

The total proposed floor area is 146 square metres. 

The estimated construction value of the project is over €230,000, according to the Construction Information Services database.
