Plans for creche behind famous pub in Prosperous

A planning application has been made to convert buildings behind a Prosperous pub into a creche.

The development involves changes to three existing retail units and part of the fourth retail unit behind Dowling's Pub.

The application submitted to Kildare Co Council also includes changing the use of a section of the existing carpark to an enclosed outdoor play area for exclusive use by the crèche.

The remaining 30 square metres of the existing fourth retail unit will stay as retail use.

The application includes refurbishment of the existing building as well as signs.
