Questions raised over pollution of harbour area in Kilcock

The Maynooth Municipal District Council have been asked to provide a report on the pollution issue in the Harbour in Kilcock which has been affecting the area for a number of years.

Cllr Paul Ward has asked for the council provide a comprehensive report/update on the pollution issue in the Harbour Kilcock setting out the work completed to date, the next stages of the work to be completed and any other relevant update. He has also asked for a meeting to be scheduled with all relevant stakeholders.

The issue was raised almost two years ago by Independent Cllr Padraig McEvoy, who asked for a survey of the drainage system in the area to be carried out.
