Review: Residence Day Spa, Naas - a little bit of paradise just seconds from the main street - but like walking into another world!

A wave of warmth and positivity enveloped me as I walked down the steps to the reception area of Residence Day Spa, Naas.
I had left the busy traffic fumes and noise behind me, and walked into a tropical paradise!
Many beauty and spa salons have subdued, ‘muted’ tones, and usually you’d say that would work for relaxation and ‘zoning out’. But I felt invigorated walking in here to a fab reception area.
I took a sneak-peak into some of the treatment rooms and thought ‘Wow!’ Muse Interiors worked with proprietor Zane Kositiva on refurbishing the salon last year. Opened in November, 2015, Residence Day Spa has literally been flying ever since, so much so that the Spa is open 7 days a week.
I was fascinated with the individuality of décor in various treatment rooms with names aptly describing each: Dragon Fly Dance, Birds of Paradise, Enchanted, etc.
It is fab and the positive energy is all enveloping! Zane herself exudes positive energy and whilst I waited to be taken to my treatment with therapist Dorina, I peeked into a room where a group of ladies, a mother and daughter and daughter in law trio, were enjoying tea and scones after their treatments.
I chatted to a couple of ladies having nail treatments, were they all enjoying themselves – all gave glowing accounts of staff, the atmosphere and of course, the treatments.
Dorina says she has worked there for the past year and loves it, loves the beauty of the spa and the treatments.
Time For Mum Mother’s Day package
I had the Time for Mum Mother’s Day Package, which entailed a Vitamin C facial, hot oil back and shoulder massage, finished with a nail file and polish – sorry, polished off with tea and scones (you can have a glass of bubbly either).
Indeed, within the treatment totalling 2 hours, I had a foot massage whilst my facial was applied. This ‘Germaine de Caupuccini’ Vitamin C Boost Facial was divine, and left my skin glowing and without lines! It really is a very effective and ultra-enjoyable anti-ageing and skin correction treatment. And I loved Dorina’s personal touch, in ‘patting’ the face between applications.
I was seriously in Paradise! This two hour package costs €115 but with the quality range of treatments, service and the ambience, it’s seriously good value and a great Mother’s Day Gift to receive!
Mother’s Day Offers
Other offers entail the Mum to Be-Mamma Mia treatment, also 2 hours and €115 Mother’s Day Gift Vouchers at €50 would also make a lovely gift for Sunday next, and if you mention the Kildare Post when booking a Mother’s Day Package, you receive a scented candle, compliments of Zane and Residence Day Spa!
Word of Mouth
“Our business has grown so much” said Proprietor Zane, who sponsored Ladies Winter’s Day at Naas Races last year. “The lady who won best dressed last year, came in with her husband as part of her prize – and they loved it so much, they have re-booked!”
Recommendations and word of mouth works when it is positive affirmation, and it is certainly working for Zane and Residence Day Spa! With 8 therapists, they are busy but never seem to lose the essential key to success: treat every customer as if they’re special.
And that’s how I felt leaving the salon last week, Special, Pampered, Chilled, like a child who’d been indulged in the candy shop!
