Singer Luan Parle and Christy Moore at workshop in Newbridge school
Exciting day for the Kildare pupils
Singer / songwriter Luan Parle is hosting an IMRO (Irish Music Rights Organisation) songwriting event / day at Holy Family Newbridge Co Kildare on Wednesday, March 20th.
During the morning, the students will write their own original composition with Luan.
In the afternoon, Christy Moore will be the guest artist.
Luan will interview Christy all about his life in music and his songwriting process.
The students will then have the floor to ask questions.
The event will finish off with the students performing the song they wrote earlier that day for Christy.
Luan said: "II think it will be really special. Holy Family is one school out of 14 that we will be visiting around the country."
