Ted Walsh gets very angry about Ragwort at Galway Races...

The #AskTed section of RTE's racing coverage has provided some very light-hearted moments in recent years but Ted Walsh yesterday got very exercised over a question about the spread of Ragwort across the country.
The issue was one of the questions tweeted in by viewers for the trainer and former jockey based in Kill.
Ragworth is a noxious weed than can cause skin rashes and horses, cattle, deer, sheep, goats and pigs are highly sensitive to it.

When asked about Ragwort by presenter Robert Hall, Ted said:
"I think it's an absolute disgrace around the country.
"I pull ragworth. People say it's a carcinogenic. I've been pulling it since I was 16 and I'm not dead yet.
"I think it's a disgrace. Coming down and looking at the fields with ragworth. The county council should be shot and the dirty farmers that let it grow up around them... shoot them as well."
He added: "Shoot the whole lot of them!"
It's the latest in a line of hilarious one-liners Ted comes out with during the #AskTed segments.
Kardashians
At Punchestown last year, Walsh asked who was his 'favourite Kardashian'.
Thinking it must be a Chinese takeaway, Ted replied: "I've never eaten one."
Emojis
Ted was also asked by a viewer what was his favourite emoji, and he replied: “An emoji? I don’t know what an emoji is. I drive a Toyota, I don’t know what an emoji is!”
Conor McGregor
Last year, he was also asked to give his opinion on the upcoming Conor McGregor vs Floyd Mayweather superfight:
“Unless McGregor can kick him or bite him, your man will beat him out of the ring - Mayweather! He’ll hammer the lard out of your man!”
