Teenager was spotted stealing from cars at Newbridge train station, Kildare court told

A Kildare teenager was allegedly spotted stealing from cars at Newbridge train station.

The male youth, who cannot be identified due to reporting restrictions imposed by Judge Desmond Zaidan, was accused of stealing a number of items from four different cars earlier this year.

Gardaí told the judge that he was later identfied by CCTV footage.

Judge Zaidan accepted jurisdiction over the case and adjourned it to a date in January of next year.

He remanded the youth on continuing bail until the case resumes.

A book of evidence was also served on the youth for a separate set of offences.
