Train delays after car hits railway bridge at Kildare Town

Services through Kildare train station are delayed by up to 50 minutes after a car hit a nearby railway bridge.
The incident has now been cleared but the delays on the Dublin-Cork line remain, according to Iarnrod Eireann.
Engineers are onsite inspecting the damage to the bridge.
A spokesperson had said earlier: "Due to a vehicle hitting a bridge, services are currently suspended in both directions through Kildare Station."
