Two men stabbed in random attack outside Dublin pub last night

Two men were stabbed outside a busy Dublin pub late last night in what is being described as a 'random attack'.

The two men, who were both aged in their mid twenties were out socialising and they were approached by a group of males outside a bar on Fade street who were unknown to them. One member from the group verbally abused them before attacking them.

One of the victims received a stab wound to his chest, while the other was cut in the arm in the attack.

Both men were taken to St James' Hospital for treatment to their injuries. Gardai are still investigating the incident.
