BOOKS OF EVIDENCE SERVED

Two separate cases involving alleged sexual offences have been sent forward to the present sittings of Naas Circuit Criminal Court.

Judge Desmond Zaidan sent the cases forward on Thursday, April 20, at Naas District Court.

Both men, who had books of evidence served against them on this date, cannot be identified at present due to reporting restrictions.

In the first case, the man was previously accused of spying on a woman and grabbing her leg in a gym shower.

The accused denies the allegations made against him.

In the second case, the man, who is also contesting the allegations made against him, was accused of sending a Snapchat message to a 13-year-old girl known to him, in which he allegedly enticed her to perform oral sex on him, a charge he denies.

The mother of the girl requested to be in court on the latest date, which Judge Zaidan allowed.
