All Laois Garda Stations to display opening hours

All Garda Stations in Laois will now display their opening hours.

The move was announced by Laois Garda Chief Superintendent John Scanlan at a meeting of the Joint Policing Committee.

“No later than tomorrow we will have the times of opening hours available,” said Chief Supt Scanlan.

He had been responding to a question from Deputy Brian Stanley who said people need to know when the stations are open in order to access forms, licence guns or carry out other business.
