Ballyroan man fined

A BALLYROAN man has been fined for speeding.

Diarmuid Quinlan, of Newtown, Ballyroan, was charged with the offence at the N7, Ballaghmore, Upper Borris-in-Ossory, on January 8 this year.

The court heard from Mr Anthony Roche, a speed camera operator, that Quinlan was travelling at 136km per hour on the day.

Judge William Early fined Quinlan €150.
