‘Bullseye’: Laois gardaí slam driver speeding 180kmph on M8

Laois gardaí have scolded a driver who was allegedly speeding, jokingly comparing their high speeds to a darts score.

“ The only perfect 180 we like to see is on our office dartboard,” gardaí said.

“This driver was clearly throwing caution to the wind when recorded at 180 km/hr on the M8 in County Laois. If your speedometer is reading like a top darts score, it's time to ease off the accelerator,” they said.

“No Alley Pally for this driver, just a trip to Portlaoise District Court,” gardaí finished.
