Trading at the new restaurant was strong throughout Friday and across the weekend, as customers in the Midlands sampled Popeyes® world-famous Shatter Crunch chicken.

Applegreen has created 40 new jobs with the opening of the new Popeyes® restaurant, which is the brand’s second outlet in the Republic of Ireland following its recent opening in Blanchardstown earlier this month.

Applegreen intends to create 450 new jobs over the next four years, as it rolls out Popeyes® chicken restaurants in a €6 million expansion programme.
