Paddy Clooney - Abbeyleix
The death took place on Monday, February 20 of Paddy Clooney of Ballytarsna, Abbeyleix.
Peacefully surrounded by his family in the loving care of the staff of Oghill Nursing Home. Predeceased by his wife Mary. Mourned by his heartbroken daughters Anne and Patricia, sons-in-law Eamon and Aidan, adored grandchildren Roisin, Tommy, Sean and Conall . Brothers Martin and Joe, sisters-in-law Josie and Lil, brother-in-law Paddy, nieces, nephews, neighbours and a large circle of friends.
Reposing in the Chapel of Rest adjoining The Church of The Most Holy Rosary, Abbeyleix, on Tuesday from 5.30pm with Rosary at 7pm. Removal from his residence on Ash Wednesday to The Church of The Most Holy Rosary, Abbeyleix, for 1pm. Requiem Mass. Interment afterwards in St. Patrick's Cemetery.

Breda Langton - Stradbally
The death took place on Monday, February 20 of Breda (Birdie) Langton (née Lalor) of 21 The Glebe, Stradbally, and formerly Cashel, Ballyroan.
Peacefully, at her home. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered always by her loving husband Sean, daughter Cathy, sons Martin, John, Podge and Jimmy, grandchildren, Gavin, Barry, Jessie, Jack, Clodagh, Danny, Nicola and Grace, sisters, brothers, daughters-in-law, son-in-law, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and her many friends.
Reposing at her home from 3pm on Tuesday (21st February), with recital of the rosary at 8pm. Funeral Mass will take place at 12 noon on Wednesday (22nd February) in the Church of the Sacred Heart, Stradbally. Interment to follow in Oakvale Cemetery.
Birdie's Funeral Mass will be live streamed via the Comerford Lynch Funeral Directors Website.
Peter Conroy - Mountmellick
The death took place on Sunday, February 19 of Peter Conroy of 33 Emmet Terrace, Mountmellick, and formerly Graigue Mountmellick.
Unexpectedly, at the Regional Hospital Portlaoise. Deeply regretted by his loving sister Ann Hickey brothers Jim, Joe, Liam and Christy, neices, nephews, brothers in law, sister in law, cousins, neighbours, former work colleagues and his many friends.
Reposing Moloney's Funeral Home, Mountmellick on Tuesday from 6pm. Recital of The Rosary at 7.30pm. Reposing in on Wednesday from 12noon with Removal at 12.45pm to St.Joseph’s Church, Mountmellick arriving for Requiem Mass at 1pm. Burial after in St.Joseph’s Cemetery.

Ellen Ryan - Rathdowney
The death took place on Saturday, February 18 of Ellen (Nellie) Ryan (née Herke) of Lyrogue, Rathdowney.
Peacefully in the care of the nurses and staff of Brookhaven Nursing Home, Ballyragget. Predeceased by her beloved husband Michael (Mick) and her brother John. Sadly missed by her sister-in-law Sarah (McManus), nieces Marion, Lisa and Ellen, nephews Michael, Eamonn and Sean, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at her home (Lyrogue) on Monday February 20th from 5pm to 7pm. Funeral Mass on Tuesday at 11am in The Church of Our Lady, Queen of The Universe, Errill (Errill Live Stream Tab on www.rathdowneyparish.ie) followed by interment in Rathdowney local cemetery.
