Two week countdown to 2024 Electric Picnic in Laois
Just two weeks to go and the announcements for the 2024 Electric Picnic in Laois are coming thick and fast!
The Jerry Fish Sideshow is the latest to reveal its own wave of acts, celebriting diversity, unity and circus and vaudeville excitement, with ringmaster extraordinaire, Irish musician Jerry Fish at the helm.
"Roll up! Roll up! The all-day, late-night, mischief-filled arena that is Fish Town is planning to be wilder than ever for Electric Picnic 2024. Caged, stray, concealed or revealed, it’s all good at Fish Town, this is where we redefine 'normal'," promise the festival.
In its third year deep in the woods of Stradbally, Fish Town is home to The Jerry Fish Electric Sideshow - Circus Tent, three pop up Sideshow Stages and The Heart and Anchor Bar, a guaranteed magnet this year with its unique offerings of signature cocktails and sideshow circus themed bespoke drinks. The whole town is inhabited by circus, cabaret, burlesque, pole, drag and sideshow walkabout performers – you never know who you may bump into at Fish Town.
This year they have doubled the carnival sideshow offerings.

Fish Town promises once again to be a highlight of this year’s Picnic, delivering three debauched days and nights of mind blowing, soul bending entertainment under its unwavering banner of ‘unity through diversity’.
Jerry Fish is currently crowdfunding his new album Dreaming of Daniel featuring MayKay on Kickstarter, a tribute to songwriter Daniel Johnston. Jerry Fish and MayKay will be performing songs from the new album on Friday night at Electric Picnic 2024.
