Emergency services dealing with crash on the N80 in Laois

Emergency services are dealing with a crash on the N80 between Mountmellick and Tullamore. 

The crash between a car and a van is believed to have occurred shortly after 6pm this evening. It occurred on a straight stretch of road close to the border with Co Offaly. 

A stop go system has been set up to allow traffic pass the scene of the collision as paramedics and fire and rescue crews carry out their work.
