Footpath repairs wanted in Portlaoise town and two housing estates

Laois County Council plans repairs at Kilminchy, Garden Village and Church Avenue
Damaged and worn footpaths in two Portlaoise housing estates and in the town centre, are to be repaired.
Kilminchy, the Garden Village and Church Avenue were all highlighted as needing repairs to Laois County Council.
Fine Gael Cllr Thomasina Connell tabled a motion to the January meeting of Portlaoise Municipal District requesting the works, specifically at house number 57A in The Garden Village, and House number 12 in Kilminchy Avenue.
In response, the Portlaoise district engineer said repairs will be done in the coming weeks.
