Laois business leader taking holistic approach with New Year's resolution

Director of The Cube, Caroline Hofman shares her hopes for 2025
As we say goodbye to 2024 and welcome the new year we have asked well known Laois people from different backgrounds and age groups about their resolutions and hopes for 2025. From musicians to sport stars they share with Leinster Express/ Laois Live their highs and lows over the past twelve months and what they are looking forward to in the year ahead.
Director of The Cube, Caroline Hofman, is taking a holistic approach with her New Year resolution.
“On a personal level, I am eager to increase my fitness and improve my overall health. I'm looking at doing a couch to 10K, so watch this space! I used to be a keen rugby player and I hope to get back into this too. I also hope to enhance my skills and knowledge and I have applied for a post graduate course. Environmental Law hopefully, but yet to hear back if I've been accepted on that one. If not, it'll definitely be some area of law I'll study,” she said.
So what are her wishes for 2025?
“I would hope that the Government formation talks are successful in early 2025, and that there is balanced policy with supports for businesses, farmers, community groups and homeowners not only around sustainability, renewables and decarbonisation, but also around the cost of doing business and the cost of living which is impacting us all,” she said.
