The Harps Camogie club went from strength to strength in 2023

The Harps Camogie club had a 2023 to remember as the club had one of its most successful years to date with plenty of silverware and final appearances along the way. The juvenile section of the club also made big strides in the year.

The club's Junior team won a Leinster League Title, were crowned Laois Junior champions as well as going on a run in the Leinster Championship in which Wicklow's Knockananna pipped them at the post in the final.

Their underage side also had an incredible year as the U-16 got to a county final while the U-15's reached the final of the the U15 Féile County and Regional competitions. The U14's lifted silverware in the form of the winning the Stephen Dunican Memorial Tournament. The U12's reached their final while an amazing number of U6's right up to U10's training all year.

There was plenty of The Harps players represented on Laois panels throughout the years while some players tasted glory with their school. Lisa Kirby won a Junior ‘A’ All Ireland with Loretto while Alison Curran, Eimear Murphy, Sive O’Reilly, Caitlin Ince and Lily Dunne were on the Heywood side which won a Leinster Schools Final. The club say they are grateful to everyone who has supported and donated to our club in order for us to be able achieve this.

Their Christmas Draw was also well supported this year with a dozen prizes up for grabs. See the list of winners below.
