On a sunny day in August it looks spectacular. With a great colour palette in all the tubs and open planting areas around the town and approach roads. It was noted from a plaque on the wall that Durrow has been involved in Tidy Towns since 1966. Durrow also had two impressive large green areas in the centre of the town that are put to great use for festivals including the acclaimed Scarecrow Festival. The square is framed by beautiful Georgian buildings which add a great sense of grandeur to the square.placeholder image
