Errill drama group is back this month, and have announced their new play, 'Strictly for the Birds', written by infamous playwright, Sam Cree.
The comedy production follows the Glover family, Muriel, Herbie, and their daughter, Susan, your normal, typical family.
However, things soon take an exciting turn when Muriel and her best friend, and neighbour, Lily Dodds, win big when they draw the favourite in the Irish sweepstake in an impending horse race and are likely to win a large sum of money.
When word travels, Muriel’s mother, who lives in Cherry Valley, descends on the household with the threat that life will never be the same again for the hapless Herbie.
Blending timeless writing and comedy, which is typical of Cree's work, the audience are in for a treat, with a hilarious evening of chaos ahead.
The play will take place on Thursday, November 28, Friday, November 29, and will conclude on Sunday, December 1.
